Love + Pride - A modern day fairytale
Two beautiful women, each with a beautiful child, one donated a kidney to the other and then they fell in love.
Madeline + Kylie got married on the 24/04/2024, a very cool date AND the one year anniversary of the life saving surgery, which, also happened to be during Lesbian Visibility Week, just perfect for these two as they are very proud members of the Rainbow community. During the ceremony and during their couples photos they were literally waving the rainbow flag with the biggest smiles on their faces.
I met this couple through our children, their wonderful school & their sports, seeing their kids so happy (and emotional) brought tears to my eyes too.
Madeline summed it up well in her vows "I may have given you the gift of life, but life gave me the gift of you..."

Now, a side note... I have had the question before of "would you photograph a gay wedding?" which breaks my heart that it is even a question people feel the need to ask, so here I am, telling you now, no matter who you are, no matter who you love, I would be honoured to photograph you!
